By - NK AggarwalaWe are pleased to present the revised edition of Elementary English Grammar and Composition for Classes 1 to 8. Encouraged by the response and feedback, we have added new and innovative exercises to our Grammar Section and revised our Writing Skill Section thoroughly. All the changes and additions have been made keeping in view, the suggestions of schools across the country. This revised edition is based on the latest National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023, including its key elements Pramanas, Panchakosha Vikas and Panchpadi. NEP (National Educational Policy) 2020 key points have been included as part of the chapters in exercises and activities.
Each book in the series is scientifically graded and planned to teach Functional Grammar, Sentence Structures and Correct Usage rather than teaching Formal Grammar. The books contain illustrations, crosswords, examples and specimens of all types of Functional Grammar and Correct Usage. There are Revision Tests at regular intervals in all the books. Each concept has been covered in detail, and great care has been taken to offer the relevant core concepts for the learners at each level. Salient Features of the Book • Deliberate steps have been taken to include the primary components of the 2020
National Education Policy and the latest National Curriculum Framework.
• The text provides straightforward, thorough, and precise explanations of fundamental grammar concepts.
• Each explanation is supplemented with numerous examples and diverse exercises.
• The exercises are presented with clear, easy-to-follow directions.
• Engaging and creative exercises, including a variety of activities such as grids and puzzles, are included to enhance the enjoyment of learning.
• There is also a great emphasis on building cross-curricular, grade-appropriate vocabulary through exercises and comprehension.
• Revision Tests are given to assess and reinforce the students' comprehension of the topics.
• The Teacher's Resource Books provide answers for each exercise in the textbooks.
We hope this series caters to the requirements of the teachers as well as the students and meets our expectations in serving as a guide to the next generation of global citizens. Any suggestions for further improvement of the books is most welcome.
