About the Book

This new Workbook on "I.C.S.E. History and Civics - Part II" has been written strictly in accordance with the new syllabus prescribed by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination for the students of Class X appearing in the l.C.S.E. Examination to be held in and after 2018.

• This Book has been divided into two sections, Section A deals with Civics; Section B with History. 
• There has been a considerable change in the syllabus in 'Civics' and 'History' so chapters have been changed accordingly.
• Special care has been taken in framing the questions. They are based on the pattern of the specimen paper of the Council. This is done to prepare the students thoroughly for such examinations and secure good marks.
• The questions in each lesson have been divided into two parts. Part I contains Short-answer Questions. Part II contains Structured  Essay-Type Questions.
• The questions are wide and varied. They cover every aspect of the lesson and cater to the needs of the students in every possible way. We are confident that the workbook will boost the confidence of the students and help them to face exam with ease.

We hope that this new edition will find favour with both students and teachers.
