Today’s professionals are expected to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and solve problems efficiently. Recognising these needs, this book—Concepts in Information Technology for Class IX (Subject Code: 402)—has been thoughtfully designed to align with the latest CBSE syllabus, as well as the guiding principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023.
This book focuses on holistic student development, promoting Critical Thinking, Life Skills, Problem-solving, and Experiential Learning, in line with the goals of the NEP.

Part D – Project Work: Includes two guided projects each from Writer, Calc, and Impress software to enhance application-based learning.
Part E – Assessment Section: CBSE Sample Question Paper (with QR Code-linked solutions) and three Model Test Papers, with solutions accessible via QR Codes.
