About the Book

Core Social Science - Economics for Class 9 has been revised strictly according to the latest syllabus and examination pattern prescribed by the CBSE and the latest NCERT book (Understanding Economic Development).

This book introduces students to a simplified view of the process of development in the Indian economy. The purpose of the book is to understand the economic life around us and also to think about what we would mean by economic development of people.
