About the Book

Our new English Reader Series, Get Smart—A Multi-skill English Language Course for Classes 1 to 8, has meticulously followed the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. The three main constituents, Pramanas, Panchakosha Vikas, and Panchpadi, have been used significantly through the explanations, examples, and exercises used in this series. This series adopts an eclectic approach which keeps the child in the centre of learning and encourages
teacher-student interaction as well as collaborative and experiential learning. This series follows the latest teaching-learning pedagogy and lays emphasis on the four language skills—listening, speaking, reading and writing—along with vocabulary and grammar. It combines the advantages of both structural and communicative approaches. The universally accepted themes and language-learning activities have been blended for the progressive development of learning abilities, besides teaching life skills and values for the learner’s holistic development.

Literature Readers (for Classes 3 to 8) help to promote the reading habit in young learners. Reading literature is pivotal to imbibe good language skills among the learners.

Teacher’s Resource Books are meant to serve as handy aids for teachers. They comprise lesson plans and teaching guidelines along with the answer keys for coursebooks, workbooks and literature readers.
