About the Book

PREFACE TO THE LATEST EDITION 
This book has been written in accordance with the latest syllabus of chemistry prescribed by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi for Class IX of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (1.C.S.E.) Examinations. 

This workbook supplements A New Approach to l.C.S.E. Chemistry Textbook Class IX. The main strength of the book lies in the subject matter and the experience that a student will gain in solving difficult and complex problems of Chemistry. Stress has been laid upon mastering the fundamental principles of Chemistry. It has been written with student in mind so that he can revise most important questions before examinations. In this workbook, a large number of questions based on l.C.S.E. Examination pattern have been added so that the student knows the level of difficulty he is going to face in the final examinations. It has been our endeavour to make this workbook examination oriented, so that students get familiar with the questions that may be asked in the final examinations.
