About the Book

Rosemary – An Activity-based Integrated Course has been a well-established and trusted series from Classes 1 to 5. Building on its strong foundation, proven effectiveness, and broad appreciation from teachers and learners, we now extend the Rosemary family to the Foundational Stage. We are pleased to introduce three new levels—Nursery, Lower K.G., and Upper K.G.—as an expansion of the existing series.

These new levels are thoughtfully developed for young learners and are fully aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023. They incorporate the key elements of Panchkosha Vikas, Pramanas, Panchpadi, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and 21st-Century Skills, and focus on learners’ capabilities, interests, the development of psychomotor skills, and inquisitiveness.

The books include English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and Art. The series follows a child-centric approach with eye-catching illustrations, interesting exercises, cheerful rhymes, and fun-filled activities. The aim of this series is to establish a solid educational foundation for young learners, contributing to their all-round growth and development.

The Salient Features of the Series

• Integrates key educational concepts with visually appealing, fun-filled activities and interactive exercises.

• Skill Focus identifies and highlights 21st-century skills, such as vocabulary building, critical thinking, self-awareness, recognition, and observation, that students acquire through each activity.

• The book provides Digital Support with QR Codes, linking to interactive videos, digital games, and practice tasks. This blended learning experience keeps learners actively engaged and supports reinforcement in a fun and interactive way.

ENGLISH: It is designed to revise the English alphabet through rhymes and object recognition, with an explanation of the phonics of each letter, along with the basics of vowels and consonants. It introduces grammar concepts such as sight words, articles, and prepositions.

MATHEMATICS: It helps learners develop observation, classification, and comparison skills through visual and hands-on activities, which prepare them for formal number learning. It introduces pre-number concepts, shapes, size comparison, patterns, and measurements.

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES: It provides a gradual introduction from self-awareness to family, school, and community topics, guiding learners from a personal to a broader understanding. It is interspersed with language development, social-emotional skills, and active listening.

ART: It encourages creativity and self-expression through colouring and tracing activities. It nurtures imagination through theme-based drawings and helps children express ideas with clarity and joy.
