The revised edition of the book A Complete Course in Mathematics for Class 10 has been written strictly according to the latest Syllabus and Examination Pattern prescribed by the CBSE, New Delhi. As this is the first Board (public) examination for students of Class X, efforts have been made to ensure that even students of average or below-average calibre can attempt the exam confidently. There are two versions of the mathematics paper for Class 10 – Basic and Standard. While developing the book, examples and questions under exercises have been categorised accordingly.
Plenty of Case Study-Based Questions and Assertion-Reason Questions, which are integral parts of the new examination pattern, have also been incorporated.
The book strictly follows the latest syllabus prescribed by CBSE, New Delhi.
Action Plan at the beginning of each chapter helps students strategise CBSE Board preparation by understanding weightage, key topics, and dos & don’ts. Scan the QR Code, watch the action plan, and then start the chapter.
The text (Definitions, Concepts, Theorems, etc.) is explained systematically and logically, with ample Solved Examples and Exercises.
All difficult questions (from NCERT, NCERT Exemplar, and other parallel books) have been solved or provided with Hints.

Suggestive categorisation of questions as Basic and Standard is provided to meet the requirements of the latest examination pattern.
Questions from Previous Years’ CBSE Papers (till 2025) have been incorporated appropriately. This resource helps students understand recent exam trends, question patterns, and important topics for effective practice.
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) have been included to assess learning.
