This book titled A Textbook of Information Technology for Class 11 [Subject code:802] fulfills all the needs and requirements of the latest syllabus and examination pattern as prescribed by the CBSE.

Salient Features of the Book:
• As per the latest Skill Education Curriculum and examination pattern prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
• The book is divided into four sections:

• Part A deals with the Employability Skills with chapter names Communication Skills- III, Self-management Skills - Ill, Basic ICT Skills - Ill, Entrepreneurial Skills - Ill and Green Skills - Ill.
• Part B deals with Subject Specific Skills with chapters on Fundamentals of Computer, Components of Computer, Operating System, Troubleshooting, Utilities, Computer Networking, Internet and its Terminology, Cyber Threats and Security, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Office Impress, RDBMS and Fundamentals of Java Programming. 
• Part C deals with Practical work consisting of SQL and Java questions.

• Two Model Test Papers are also provided whose solutions can be accessed through QR codes.
• The chapters from Part A and Part B have been divided into the following parts:
(a) Introduction: It introduces you to the topic of the chapter. It also tells you what you will learn through various topics covered in the chapter.
(b) Did You Know: Some interesting knowledge has been given in the midst of the chapter.
(c) Fact: Some interesting historical fact has been given.
(d) Exercises: At the end of each chapter, exercises are given to test the understanding of the conceptual topics learnt. This section consists of MCQ's, Fill in the Blanks, State whether True or False, Short Answer Questions and Long Answer Questions. Lab Exercise is also provided for hands-on knowledge gaining.
