Information Technology these days is a very important domain of study among schoolgoers. Lots of far-reaching changes like in Al, Data Science, Machine learning are taking place in the computer world. One cannot miss out on the rapid changes taking place on every front. For the students, their future also depends on soft skills, like language, self-management, entrepreneurial skills and green skills.

This book titled A Textbook of Information Technology for class 12 [Subject code:802] fulfills all the needs and requirements of the latest syllabus and examination pattern.
Salient features of this book are:
• As per the latest Skill Education Curriculum and examination pattern prescribed by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
• The book is divided into two sections:
Part A deals with the Employability Skills with chapter names Communication Skills-IV, Self-management Skills - IV, Basic ICT Skills - IV, Entrepreneurial Skills - IV and Green Skills - IV. Part B deals with Subject Specific Skills with chapters on Database Concepts - RDBMS tool, Operating Web Based Applications, Java and Work Integrated learning IT-DMA.

The chapters from Part A and Part B have been divided into the following parts:
(a) Introduction: It introduces you to the topic of the chapter. It also tells you what you will learn through the various topics covered in the chapter.
(b) Did You Know: Some interesting knowledge has been given in the midst of the chapter.
(c) Fact: Some interesting historical fact has been given.
(d) Exercises: At the end of each chapter, exercises are included to test the understanding of the matter read over the various topics. This section consists of MCQ's, Fill in the Blanks, State whether True or False, Short Answer Questions and Long Answer Questions. Lab Exercise is also provided for hands-on knowledge gaining.
(e) Practical work consisting of SOL and Java questions are put and project work consists of Java programs (solved and unsolved).
(f) The CBSE Sample Question Paper with solutions is provided at the book end.
(g) Three Model Test Papers are also provided whose solutions are provided through QR codes.
