About the Book

The Be An Entrepreneur Series introduces young learners to the world of entrepreneurship, creativity, and problem-solving. Creating with My Innovative Mind, the fifth book in the series, is designed for Class 5–6 students (ages 10–11) and nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation. Aligned with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, this book helps children transition from self-discovery to social innovation, blending imagination with practical action and values with vision.

Through engaging stories, rhymes, and hands-on activities, students explore how creativity, science, and social awareness combine to generate practical solutions for tomorrow’s India. Each of the ten chapters is built around a Chapter Theme, connecting learning to real-life experiences at home, in school, and in the community. The series develops 21st-century life skills, encourages understanding of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and guides students from “I can design and solve” to “I can innovate and lead.”

Chapters such as The Bag That Wouldn’t Break, The Lantern in the Window, and The Market of Small Swaps promote eco-innovation and resource responsibility, while The Chair with Three Legs inspires learners to design prototypes for Viksit Bharat 2047, including floating classrooms, solar tools, and community devices.

Pedagogically, this book functions as a mini-innovation lab, enhancing observation, design thinking, future-readiness, and leadership through storytelling and experimentation. Students learn that innovation is not just about machines—it is about minds that care and create.
