The Be An Entrepreneur Series is a transformative set of books for Classes 1 to 8, designed to inspire young learners to think creatively, act independently, and develop problem-solving skills through the lens of entrepreneurship. Beyond just business, entrepreneurship in this series emphasizes curiosity, creativity, courage, and care, helping children make confident decisions, innovate, and act with purpose. These books guide students to build a stronger India by generating ideas, creating jobs, and driving sustainable change.
Aligned with NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework 2023 (NCF), the series nurtures the transition from self-discovery to social innovation. Learners are encouraged to blend imagination with action, values with vision, and develop empathy, honesty, responsibility, and collaboration. The books prepare children to become ethical, compassionate, and creative leaders who can drive positive change in society.
The Young Entrepreneur, the seventh book in the series, invites twelve- to thirteen-year-olds to explore how ideas grow into enterprises that serve both people and the planet. Each of the fifteen chapters revolves around a Chapter Theme, connecting real-world experiences—from classroom teamwork to community impact—with values, 21st-century skills, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students progress from "I can design for impact" to "I can lead and serve," gaining hands-on experience in designing, pitching, and reflecting on entrepreneurial ideas.
Every chapter follows a signature learning design:
Social Startup Story: Analyzes real Indian enterprises and grassroots innovations.
Entrepreneur’s Success Story: Features young achievers with QR codes for deeper learning.
My Bharat: Golden Past | Glorious Future: Trade tales linking entrepreneurship with India’s cultural and economic heritage.
Quick Facts, Big Impact!: Connects themes with India-specific policies, missions, and SDG progress.
Vocabulary Vault: Builds conceptual language around sustainability and entrepreneurship.
My Learning Tracker: Enables recall, reflection, and self-assessment.
Chapter-End Factual Story: Call to Action: Extended reading with QR code showcasing real innovators transforming communities.
Pedagogically, this series functions as a youth-entrepreneurship lab, fostering design thinking, financial literacy, teamwork, and social responsibility. Through stories, analysis, and experiential learning, children discover that true enterprise begins with purpose and grows through collaboration and partnership.
