On 5th June, the Ministry of Education released NIRF India Ranking 2023 for higher education. The report considers several parameters to rank institutes. In the overall category (when all parameters are considered), here is the list of the top 10 institutions.

What is NIRF? 

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) guides how institutions of higher learning are ranked in India. The framework was released in 2015 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed to the Ministry of Education in 2020.) 

The methodology is based on the recommendation of the Core Committee set up by the MHRD. The committee identified some broad parameters to assign ranking to institutions.
